My new favorite recipe

Simple Chicken

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish or roasting pan. Dot each breast with 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, then season each breast with dried basil and garlic salt to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

INGREDIENTS:
4 bone-in chicken breast halves, with skin
4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon garlic salt

**I found that melting the butter and mixing the spices in, then pouring it over the chicken worked better!**

Enjoy!

I've never understood what it meant to 'dot with butter'... I'd usually grab the tub o' margarine and fling bits on the dish with a spatula. Somehow I think that's wrong. Is it any wonder the Babaloo does most of the cooking around here? hahaha
Even so, I look forward to trying this recipe...
